Below is a number of examples of commissions undertaken by members of the Suffolk Craft Society to showcase what is possible.

Antonia Hockton

‘Flight’ – Commissioned by Morrison’s Supermarket for the new store in Cambourne, Cambridgeshire. Twelve carved panels set into 'runways' of contrasting paving. The theme of flight is taken from its previous life as a wartime airfield. Each panel represents an aircraft machine part, carved in sandstone.

Christine Robinson

This work of calligraphy of the Shakespear sonnet 18, was commissioned for the commisioner's wife's 70th birthday present.

Toby Winteringham

Ashdon steps - Private commission. Made in English Cherry and Bog Oak, with marquetry decoration. These steps follow a design style seen on other pieces in Toby's collection. Trompe l'oeil marquetry is a favourite addition and is used with restraint to enhance rather than dominate.
